What age does my child need to be to attend camp?
Our camps are available to children from 5 years old to 14 years old. Due to our Ousted registration we are unable to accept children under 5 years old.
Do you accept childcare vouchers?
No. we don’t use childcare vouchers.
What happens after I have made a booking?
After you have made your booking you will receive an email confirmation with your booking details. Please check your confirmation to ensure all details are correct. Approximately 1 week prior to camp you will receive a pre camp email with all the information you will require.
What do I do if I need to make changes to my booking?

What should I bring to camp?
- Your child should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities, tracksuits with shorts if the weather is good, and ideally, every child should have 2 pairs of footwear, one for inside and one for outside if the weather is bad.
- Your child is welcome to bring their own sports equipment if they want.
- Do not worry if you do not have any specific sport equipment as this can be provided on camp.
- For sunny days, a cap and sun cream will be required.
- For rainy days, a rain jacket will be required.
- A healthy and balanced packed lunch plus additional snacks for breaks refillable water bottle
- Please do not bring money, mobile phones, electronic equipment and other valuables items.
What time does the camp start and finish?

Do you offer extended hours?
Yes, we offer extended hours between 8.30am to 9.30am and 4.30pm to 5.30pm (times may vary depending on venue). There is an additional cost of $15 per day (price may vary depending on venue) Extended hours must be booked in advance by calling our customer service team on +1 855-512-4267.
Are there any pre camp arrival forms to complete?
Before you arrive on camp please print and complete your child information form. We cannot accept any children on camp without this essential form. There will be spare copies available on camp if you forget to bring your form. The form is downloadable from your email confirmation or at the top of this page.
What if my child is ill or has an accident on camp?
On camp we have a first aid qualified coach who is trained to deal with accidents and illnesses. Should your child suffer a serious injury or illness you will be contacted immediately.
Will my child be grouped with friends?
Many children attending our camps do not know other children and part of attending Activate Camps is developing new friends. However, we do our best to accommodate friend requests made prior to arriving on camp. Due to camp numbers and ratios this is not always possible.
How many children are in each group?
We aim for ratios of 2:25 for children aged 5-10, 1:15 for children aged 11+
How do I find out how my child is getting on at camp?

Are your camps Ousted registered?
All our venues are Ousted registered and regulated to ensure we meet all necessary requirements. Each venue has its own unique registration number. If you require this number please email email@example.com with your request.
Additional Operating Procedures for Covid-19
In response to the unique challenge of Covid-19, we have developed and tested Covid-19 specific operating procedures. These will be integrated into our standard operating procedures and combined into staff training to ensure the safety of our children, parents and staff.
What happens if I have made a booking and the camp is cancelled due to Covid-19?
If a camp is cancelled due to Covid-19 you will have the option to receive credit towards a future camp or receive a full refund.
Should I wait to see if the camp is going ahead before I make a booking?
To ensure we meet group ratios some camps have reduced numbers therefore it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment. If Activate Camps cancels the camp, then you are entitled to a full refund.
Do you have hygiene measures in place on camp?
Children will be required to sanitize their hands when they arrive and reminded to wash their hands throughout the day. We will undertake regular cleaning of equipment. To ensure everyone has fun in a safe environment our staff will supervise hand-washing, monitor children for signs of infection and make sure that we are complying with the latest government guidance.
